Anne Savage & BK
Justice (Pandemic)
'Justice' pushes the boundaries of hard dance, experimenting with sexy Latino chanting laid on top of dark, uplifting pads which smash back in with tech-tinged drums.Essential!

Bootek
46 (Bootek)
Head for the A side here for a remix of Yeah Yeah Yeah's 'Heads Will Roll', featuring a mammoth bassline!

Luca Antolini & Andrea Montorsi
Still Love (Red Alert)
This Italian duo has been dominating the hard trance scene over the past year with a winning combination of big riffs and vocals, and this is the proof in the pudding that they are here to stay for a lot longer yet.

John Rideout & Defective Audio
Radical (Fireball)
Nu school meets old school here - with both producers and ideas - with an awesome groove and uplifting chord riffs in the intro section and then dirty hard house saw riffs in the main break.

Darren Styles & Recon
Like A Bitch (Junkbox)
An exciting collaboration here between two of the leaders in the UK hardcore game, and both contrasting styles shining through clearly! Beautiful strings, pads and pianos in the breakdown are representative of Darren's sound, where as the aggressive "I'll smack you like a bitch' vocal I'm imagining is the work of scouser Re-Con, showing his love for the harder European sound, along with the drop after the breakdown with beats harder than a Toxteth prison guard!

Ham
Fashion (Next Generation)
After some great recent success in the drum & bass scene under his Hamilton guise, the Next Generation Records co-founder is back with some more four-to-the-floor action, bringing some of his experience from the d&b scene back with him, but not in a predictable breakbeat stylee. There is a solid kick throughout, but with some real twisted 'jump up' style bassline stabs. Quirky and fun is the order of the day, showing why this guy has been so big in the game for so long.
